Working from Home

More and more people now work from home instead of going to an office. At first, this change can seem very attractive and convenient. You can wake up later and avoid a long, stressful commute. You also have the freedom to plan your own working hours. However, working from home is not as easy as it sounds. Without a manager nearby, you need a lot of self-discipline. It is tempting to check your phone or watch television. The line between work and personal life can quickly become blurred. To stay productive, I have created a simple daily routine. I always start work at the same time each morning. I keep a separate desk that is only for my job. I also take short breaks to stretch and rest my eyes. At the end of the day, I close my laptop and truly relax. With good habits, working from home can be both flexible and successful.
